The Forum 11 separates itself from other conferences with peer-reviewed, commercial-free, outcomes-oriented educational content. We don't settle for "pay to play" programming—neither should you.
The Care Continuum Alliance is dedicated to the science and practical applications of wellness, prevention and chronic condition care. Forum 11 programming showcases best practices and innovative strategies for improving population health and reflects a rigorous submission and review process with these requirements:
- Presentations must be original, new and represent significant programs or innovations. They cannot be similar to work submitted to, or under consideration by, other organizations, conferences and journals.
- Presentations must share best practices and strategies that other organizations can use; proprietary programs or products may not be presented.
- Presentations any health care-related commercial interests.
- Presentations must be free of commercial content or endorsement of a specific organization's particular product or services. Should a presentation be identified as being commercial, the presenter will not be invited back.
- Presentations cannot include more than one speaker per company, including employees of parent or subsidiary companies. There is a submission limit of one proposal per presenter.
- All presentations must feature at least one co-presenter. Co-presenters bring unique perspectives to sessions and are industry experts, clients, government representatives or vendor partners. Proposals submitted with only one presenter will not be considered for presentation at The Forum 11.
- All presenters must have obtained higher education credentials—master's and doctorate degrees preferred—and be clinical-, program- or researched-based (sales professionals may not present).
OUR COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE
As a provider of continuing medical education (CME), the Care Continuum Alliance strictly follows the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education guidelines and expects that the content will promote improvements or quality in health care and not a specific proprietary business or commercial interest.
- Sponsors are not involved in the planning, content or execution of educational programming.
- Presenters must adhere to the following important points for their presentations:
- Speakers must give a balanced view of therapeutic options. Use of generic names will contribute to this impartiality. If content includes trade names, trade names from several companies should be used where available, not just trade names from a single company.
- All the recommendations involving clinical medicine are based on evidence that is accepted within the profession of medicine as adequate justification for their indications and contraindications in the care of patients.
- All scientific research referred to, reported or used in support or justification of a patient care recommendation conforms to the generally accepted standards of experimental design, data collection and analysis.
